Nanono Joyce is a 12 year old Bridge Alumni from Nansana municipality. She was a Bridge pupil at Nansana for 3 years. She says the teachers at Bridge helped in improving her grades. Joyce one of the top-performing pupils in the PLE 2020 Exams managed to score n aggregate of 1o in the division one category.
At school, Joyce was the class prefect and made sure she served her role diligently. From the role she was able to acquire good leadership skills. Her favourite teacher was Mr Ivan Kasozi who teaches mathematics and science. Her favourite subject was mathematics and she dreams of becoming a lawyer in the future.
Joyce is a girl of many talents. She enjoyed debating and always involved herself in debates at school. “Debating helps me to express myself better and I enjoy being on the opposer’s side of the debate,” she says.
She is grateful to Bridge teachers because, with their commitment and dedication to helping her succeed she was able to achieve good results in the PLE, she is excited that her journey of becoming a lawyer seems closer. Well done Joyce!
